Pig farmers are losing between €60,000 and €70,000 month and need a bailout to survive.
That's according to the Irish Farmers Association, which says the sector needs €100 million urgently.
It's appearing before the Agriculture Committee later along with Meat Industry Ireland to outline how Covid and Brexit have left the sector in crisis.
