A petition is set to be launched in Co Monaghan to ask the Local Authority to put more policies and guidelines in place around the use of pesticides.
Local environmental group Transition Monaghan will launch the petition tomorrow, alongside the Federation of Group Water Schemes.
Candice Moen, of Transition Monaghan, says "a quest for tidiness" through using pesticides "is doing a lot of damage to nature, biodiversity, and to our own bodies".
