Planning permission is being sought for alterations to "Anderson's Pub" in Drum, Co Monaghan.
The building is a protected structure, and the development will include the conversation of the existing stores at ground level and two stabled on the lower ground level into guest accommodation.
Thermal upgrades will also be made to the external fabric of the property, including repair works to the existing windows, alongside the refurbishment of the front façade.
Alteration works will also be made to the internal layout, which were approved under a previous application.
Anderson's Pub has been vacant for a number of years and is described as being in a "relatively poor state of repair".
The planning application says the "important building should be conserved, restored and revitalised".
