Planning permission is being sought to develop a meat processing and packaging plant in Clones.
The applicant lost an appeal on a similar submission at the same site last year.
Feyman Europe Limited is seeking permission to change the use of the former Clones Enterprise Centre to one of a meat processing and packaging facility.
It would include amendments to the internal layout of the building and the provision of an external plant to include refrigeration and equipment.
The same company had previously been granted conditional permission to retain change of use of the same building from a Mixed-Use Enterprise Building to a meat and animal by-products processing facility.
That decision was appealed to An Bord Pleanála, who refused retention permission, saying there was insufficient information to assess the planning and environmental implications of the development.
A decision by Monaghan County Council on the new application is due at the end of the month.
