Permission granted to demolish Belturbet pub to make way for apartments

Cavan County Council has granted planning permission to demolish the 'Mad Ass pub' in Belturbet to make way for new apartments.

Six new fully serviced residential units contained within three blocks will be developed from Main Street to Patrick Street.

Works will include the development of a three-storey building along Main Street; a single storey dwelling within the site, and a three-storey building containing two apartment units along Patrick Street.

Connection to services and all ancillary site works are also included in the application.
