Planning permission has been granted to convert Ballyconnell House into a six-unit apartment building.
Ballyconnell House is a recorded protected structure, and the planning application describes it as being "essentially a 'shell' internally".
However, the application adds that further interventions to the building will be "kept to an absolute minimum" and that the restoration and adaptive re-use will be "well-considered and sympathetic".
There is also provision for new vehicle entrances and connection to services.
