Planning permission has been approved for material change of use of the former public library in Monaghan to residential use.
The approved application submitted this by RF Hillside Developments gives the green light for four two-bedroomed apartments and two one-bedroomed apartments along with alterations to the existing façade of the premises.
The approved plans allow permission for an open space area, bicycle parking and waste storage facilities, together with all associated works. County planners recently gave the go ahead with four conditions attached.
