Permission has been granted for a major new housing development in Cavan town.
In total, 25 units will be developed on land adjacent to The Beeches, in Swellan Lower, Cavan.
The fully serviced residential housing development will consist of a two-storey detached house, 14 two-storey semi-detached houses, and ten apartments within three separate, two storey blocks.

The housing development will be accessed via the existing roadway connecting to the Glenside Road.
Erne Building Solutions had applied to develop 26 units on the site in 2019, and later withdrew this application.
However, Erne Building Solutions say this application is "completely redesigned" and offers a "variety of house types to attract a variety of residents".
