Permission has been granted for alterations to a gatehouse at Bellamount House in Cootehill.
Bellamount House is a protected structure and the works will include the restoration of the gated entrance and walls of the Town Gate Lodge, using appropriate materials and techniques.
The works will also see the construction of a storage outbuilding in the vicinity of the Town Gate Lodge on the Station Road, the formation of new cut stone piers, and the height of the existing stone wall will be increased.

Permission has also been given to retain and complete existing low level retaining walls and paving.
