A private health provider has been granted planning permission to convert a listed building on Main Street, Cavan Town into a healthcare facility. Labelbrook Limited is a privately-owned Dublin-based consortium that will run a Women and Children's Service Outpatients Department on a 10-year lease with HSE Estates at the former Jackson's Garage site.
The company were previously granted permission to convert numbers 95 and 96 Main Street, Cavan from commercial use into a healthcare facility. This latest application allows the compnay to convert the ground floor of a commerical building adjacent to the former Melbourne Cafe and Cavan Gifts,
The proposed works are located within the curtilage of a protected structure. When complete the health centre will include 11 clinical rooms.
