Planning permission has been granted for 8 apartments in Ballyhaise in Co Cavan.
County planners gave Galetech Sustainable Living Limited the green light for the development in recent days.
The approved plans allow for the demolition of the existing garage located on the site and the construction of a 3 storey split level building consisting of 8 units with 4 no. 1 bed apartments and 4 no. 2 bed duplex units.

The plans also allow for the connection to existing public services and all ancillary works.
Significant further information and revised plans were submitted and Cavan County Council gave the go ahead for the housing development with 20 conditions attached.
