Permission has been granted for the construction of 30 houses in Co Monaghan.
The houses are due to be built on an existing site in Annyalla called Knockcarrick.
Knockcarrick is an unfinished residential estate and the new homes will be constructed to the rear of the existing dwellings.
The 30 homes will be a mix of single and two storey properties.
The planning report says there is a "strong demand for additional dwellings" in the area
The works will also include access road, car parking, footpaths, public lighting, and landscaping.
The application has been granted, subject to 14 conditions.
