People are invited to attend a national seminar hosted by Carrickmacross Tidy Towns this evening.
The group launched their reverse vending machine in October 2019 and as of February this year had collected 100,000 bottles.
While the machine has not been operational during the pandemic there has been continued interest from tidy towns groups across the country for information on it as their try to proceed with their own projects.
Secretary of Carrickmacross Tidy Towns Gerry Hand highlighted one of the key challenges for groups who want to install their own machine:
The seminar, originally scheduled for March, is taking place tonight at 7.30 pm, all are welcome and are asked register online, and details are on the Carrrickmacross Tidy Town’s Facebook page.
