People in Cavan are being urged to report stray cats as soon as possible.
It comes amid a rise in the number of feral cats in the county.
While Tina O'Brien, Chairperson of the Cavan SPCA, says it's an "on-going problem", she added the issue often gets worse over the summer months.
She's also warned that people are "responsible" for stray cats from "the moment they feed it".
