Members of the public are being asked to contribute to the review of the Cavan County Development Plan.
The Development Plan is a document that sets out the overall strategy and vision for the proper planning and sustainable development of the county over the 6 year period.
The plan consists of a written statement and accompanying maps and the adopted plan will guide future development in the county.
A Strategic Environmental Assessment will be carried out as part of the review process and the Planning Authority will prepare an environmental report of any significant effects on the environment.
Cavan County Council are holding consultations which began yesterday and will run from 3pm – 8pm over the next two weeks, with the next taking place tomorrow in the Cavan County Museum in Ballyjamesduff.
