People in Cavan are being asked to sign a petition for the immediate resumption of health services locally.
A new drive to force the Government to open up these services has been launched with Aontú Councillor Sarah O Reilly saying her party is concerned around this Government's obsession with insignificant details while ignoring the deepening crisis in the health service.
She says that they want Breast Check and face to face Mental Health Consultations to recommence, with the suspension putting more pressure on GPs, and hospitals.
The new petition is the first step of the campaign to get services open across Cavan with councillor O'Reilly telling Shannonside Northern Sound they cannot be blind to the threats posed by the non-Covid Healthcare Crisis:
