It's the job of Government to help people in any way it can.
These were the sentiments expressed by Cavan Monaghan Minister, Heather Humphreys, during a brief budget discussion on Shannonside/Northern Sound this week.
The Minister admitted that while it was going to be a "difficult winter" for everyone, the economy had rebounded post Covid-19 and supports would be provided for.

She said the Government was facing many challenges because of the cost of fuel and electricity.
The Minister added that people and businesses will be supported in this budget.
