People on the Mountainlodge Group Water Scheme are being reminded that a Do
Not Consume notice is in place in the area.
The notice was put in place on the scheme by the HSE and Cavan County
Council seven weeks ago after elevated levels of manganese were found in the
water.
Management of the scheme has appealed for people to abide by the notice as
it says the County Council has been told that people are continuing to
consume the water.
It's urged people not to use the water while the notice is in place.
A Do Not Consume notice is also in place on the Billis-Lavey Group Water
Scheme and a Boil Water Notice remains in place on the Doohamlet Group Water
Scheme in Monaghan.
