The Public Accounts Committee should look into the controversial pay increases for some junior ministers, according to its chairman.
It's after the Dáil approved legislation for three ministers of state to get an extra allowance of €16,000 last week.
It's also reported that Transport Minister Eamon Ryan has two chiefs of staff and will have six more special advisors.
PAC chairman Brian Stanley says the government's spending is outrageous, and he says the committee should look into it:
