The Justice Minister says they've tried to balance the night time economy with public health issues when changing licencing laws.
From next year pubs will have later opening hours and nightclubs can stay open until 6am.

While pubs will be allowed to operate between half 10 in the morning and half 12 at night across the week.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee says they took public health concerns into account.
