Over €8,600 has been spent on installing screens in courtroom across the Shannonside Northern Sound region as part of Covid-19 measures to date.
Details released under Freedom of Information reveal that over €2,000 was spent on providing screens in Carrick on Shannon and Manorhamilton courthouses in Leitrim.
According to the courts service, €1,280 was spent on screens in courthouses in Cavan and Virginia, and €1,945 for Longford courthouse.
€1,920 was spent on court screens in Monaghan and Carrickmacross and the figure for Roscommon courthouse was €1,496.
The courts service also noted that the figure for Roscommon did not include invoices for work carried out at Strokestown, Ballaghaderreen or Castlerea courthouses.
No records on how much the courts service has spent locally on hand gels and other measures was available.
