More than €70,000 worth of drugs have been seized as part of a cross-border operation by gardaí and the PSNI.
The Joint Agency Task Force, set up to tackle rural crime, also worked to seize cash, vehicles and kerosene oil across the border region.
Gardaí from the Sligo and Leitrim division seized suspected heroin worth more than €61,000, and almost €8,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis in two separate locations in Co. Sligo.
Smaller amounts of drugs were also seized in counties Louth and Donegal.
Six vehicles were also seized by gardaí, and officials from Cavan and Monaghan County Councils Waste Enforcement Departments, during inspections at licensed scrap yards and waste management facilities.
Customs officials, along with Gardaí in Cavan, Monaghan and Louth, also made seven detections in respect of marked mineral oil, discovered 1,000 litres of smuggled kerosene and seized a vehicle for tax offences.
