€260,000 has been awarded to regional heritage projects under the Historic Structure's Fund.
The total allocation, nationally, includes €4m which will be administered by the department in conjunction with the 31 Local Authorities.
In Cavan, Rath Church, Killeshandra received €35,097 while Woteraghy Mill in Ballinagh was awarded €40,000.
In Longford, Oldtown House in Ardagh was the recipient of €25,000 while Leitrim was afforded €21,000 for Armstrong's in Bridge Street, Carrick-on-Shannon.
Meanwhile, in Monaghan, Rossmore Mausoleum and Brown's Wood, Rossmore Park received €100,000 while Monaghan Holy Trinity Church in Rockcorry was awarded €38,000.
Minister Malcolm Noonan said the funding celebrated the richness and diversity of Ireland's built heritage.
Subsequent actions, he added, will help to deliver on the Government's commitments to build heritage under Heritage Ireland 2030 which was launched earlier this year.
