Planning permission has been granted to complete a ghost estate in Kingscourt.
There were four houses built on the site located at Carricklech since the economic crash over some 15 years ago.
The site has been closed up since and the new planning application that has been approved paves the way for 33 homes. Local Councillor Clifford Kelly has welcomed the news and has also said that construction work will start on a development of over 40 houses on the Kells Rd in the town. The Kingscourt councillor says it's a very welcome announcement for housing for the town.
