5,300 premises across Cavan and Monaghan can now avail of National Broadband Ireland's high-speed fibre connection. Homes, businesses and farms in places such as Tullycorbet, Glaslough, Castleshane, Ballinagh, Butlersbridge, and Crossdoney can connect from today
National Broadband Ireland is now calling on people across this region to visit www.nbi.ie/map/ and enter their Eircode to see if they can connect. Peter Hendrick, Chief Executive Officer, National Broadband Ireland, said there has been a "great uptake" on the broadband network in Monaghan Town.
He added that a connection to the NBI network will enable users to experience the life-changing benefits that high-speed broadband provides.
Meanwhile, over 16,000 premises in Co Cavan are included in the State's Intervention Area, which will see NBI deliver minimum speeds of 500 megabits per second to homes, businesses, farms, and schools.
