Over 4,000 parking fines have been issued by local authorities across the Northern Sound region.
Local figures were included in a recent break-down of data provided by Saturday's Irish Independent.
Parking fines range from 40 to 150 euro.
The fines issued range from illegal parking in disabled parking bays, footpaths, cycle tracks, and bus lanes.
These also comprise of non-display of correct tax discs and pay-and-display tickets.
Co. Monaghan holds the highest amount of issued fines at 2,052 in 2022 and increased to 3,441 in 2023, whereas Co. Cavan had a drop in issued fines from 1,158 in 2022 to 654 last year.
Nationally Cork city had the highest amount of parking fines with over 49,000 in both years.
