Over 4,000 on live register in Cavan and Monaghan

Over 4-thousand people were on the live register in Cavan and Monaghan up to the end of November
New figures from the CSO show 2,434 people were on the register in Cavan.

This is followed by 1,852 in Monaghan.
Both figures are a decrease on the same time last year, where 2,820 people in Cavan and 2,013 in Monaghan were on the register.
Nationally, 158-thousand people were on the live register up to the end of November, a reduction on the 2023 figure of 169-thousand.
