Over 380 social housing offers in Cavan and Monaghan have been refused since 2019.
Since the 1st of Jan 2019 there has been 208 refusals of properties in Monaghan.
While in Cavan 173 people refused a social house over the same period.
In Meath 433 people refused a council house during the same time frame of the past four years.
New figures obtained by Newstalk show there have been at least 7,693 refusals since 2019 in 20 local authorities across the country.
On a county-wide basis, Dublin had the highest proportion with 3,835 refusals.
Kildare had the second highest proportion with 799 refusals and followed by Louth with 306 refusals during the last four years.
