Over 2,500 power outages reported across region

Over 2,500 power outages have been reported across the Northern Sound region this morning.
Strong winds have been causing blackouts in homes across Cavan and Monaghan.
650 ESB customers are currently without power in Mullagh, Co. Cavan.
969 customers in neighbouring Oldcastle in Co. Meath are also experiencing a blackout.

893 homes in Derrycramph are out of power, while electricity has been restored for 110 homes in Clones, Co. Monaghan, since this morning.
