There has been over 150 motorcycles licensed across the Northern Sound region so far this year. The data from the CSO shows that Cavan has the highest amount of motor cycles licensed in 2023 locally so far.
There has been 92 motor cycles licensed in County Cavan so far in 2023. Monaghan has the second highest amount with a total of 60 motor cycles
licensed.
Roscommon has had 40 issued so far for 2023 while Longford has 36 to date. Meanwhile, Leitrim has the lowest amount issued in the Shannonside Northern Sound region with just 24 motor cycles licensed for the first time so far this year.

Overall there has been 252 motor cycles licensed in the region this year.
