A number of outdoor music and arts events are taking place in Cavan Town
this weekend.
Cavan Arts, in conjunction with the Department of Tourism, Arts, and Culture
and Cavan County Council, recently piloted the pedestrianised "Streets Ahead
Cavan" scheme.
As part of that project, there is a programme of live events across the
weekend and further events planned over the coming weeks.

Cavan Arts Officer, Catriona O'Reilly, says this is a vital "part of
re-emerging from Covid and encouraging people to come back onto the
streets".
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound, Catriona explained what people can
look forward to this weekend:
