An online public meeting will take place this evening to present the findings from a public engagement report on the Castleblayney Market House and Market Square.
Architectural consultants AP+E undertook the study, which found that 85% of respondents are "fully supportive" of plans to restore the building.
A recent Carrickmacross-Castleblayney MD meeting was told that a design team should be in place by June.
Tonight's meeting will briefly go through the key findings from the AP+E research and point to the next steps in the process.
The online public meeting will take place at 6.30 pm and a link to the event can be found on the Monaghan County Council and Castleblayney websites.
