There is currently 1 patient on a trolley at Cavan General Hospital compared to this day last week when that number was 25.
This represents the lowest number on trolleys at the Cavan Hospital so far this year.
Our Lady's Hospital Navan has 10 people waiting for a bed while Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda has 14 people on trolleys this afternoon.
Figures nationality today show that 440 patients are in emergency departments, while 121 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
The worst affected hospital is Cork University Hospital, with 54 people waiting for a bed this lunchtime.
