The official opening of the new group home in Carrickmacross has been postponed.
Minister Anne Rabbitte was to be in the region to mark the opening of Drummond Lodge Group home this morning, but it has now been put off.
Minister Rabbitte has tested positive for Covid-19 and is therefore unable to attend in-person events.
The facility for people with physical and sensory disabilities got the green light for construction in 2006 and was finished in 2017.
However, a number of issues in relation to funding meant the HSE were unable to run the facility.
It's understood a new date for the official opening will be confirmed in the coming days.
