People across Monaghan are being invited to attend the launch of a campaign for the upgrade of the A5 motorway.
The new campaign 'Enough is Enough' highlights the fact that 44 people have died on the A5 since 2007,
The launch event will be taking place on Monday the 23th of January at 7.30pm in the Tyrone GAA Centre in Garvaghey.
Sinn Fein Councillor Brian McKenna has become the chairperson of the cross border A5/N2 body seeking to advance the upgrade to the route.
The Monaghan Councillor says objections across the border are having major implications on the delivery on the upgrade to the A5.
