NYAH Comhaltas has received funding of €15,000 for a live and digital festival.
The funding, announced by the Minister for Arts Catherine Martin, is for projects that "promote the provision of cultural outreach programmes on a North/South basis".
The live and digital festival, in co-operation with Dun Uladh Cultural Heritage Centre in Tyrone, will showcase cross border talent from right across the province of Ulster.
The festival is scheduled for some time in August or September.
The group is also hosting "Ulster TradFlix" from Thursday to Sunday of this week, with activities kicking off at 8 pm each evening.
It will be free to view on the NYAH Comhaltas Facebook page.
Martin Donohoe is the Chair of NYAH Comhaltas and he says the funding will help the group "get Cavan and Monaghan music out there to the world":
