The number of people receiving the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in the region has increased by over a thousand this week.
The country has seen an increase of almost 15,300 over the past seven days.
Cavan and Monaghan entered Level 4 restrictions last week and they’re the local counties to see the biggest increase in PUP applications.
3,226 people will receive the payment in Cavan tomorrow, up 351 on the previous week.
Monaghan meanwhile will see 2,912 receive the PUP, up 285.
Roscommon has seen an increase of 185 to give a total of 2,417, while Leitrim sees an increase of 140 with 1,447 receiving the PUP tomorrow.
Longford has seen the smallest increase in the region - up 114 giving a total of 1,513.
