Gardaí in Co Cavan are appealing for information following a spate of reported burglaries.
A burglary was reported in Bailieboro at a house which was ransacked. The incident took place between the hours of 4pm and 11.45pm on the 05th of November in Lisnalea. The homeowners returned to find their home ransacked and a selection of jewellery stolen. if you were in the Linalea area of Bailieboro on the 05th of November and noticed anything suspicious, local gardai would like to hear from you.
Now to Cavan Town, where Gardai are investigating an attempted burglary that occurred on the 8th of November at 1.50am. A number of men were observed trying to gain entry to Certa on Farnham Rd in the town, it appeared these men were spooked and fled the scene. Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Staying in Cavan Town and Gardai are investigating a burglary in Drumalee Manor where a house was ransacked and a sum cash was taken. This incident occurred on the 12th of November between 8am and 6pm and Cavan Gardai are appealing for information in relation to anyone acting suspicious on the day in the wider Drumalee Manor estate area. And lastly Gardai are also investigating an burglary that seen a residence in Meenaghan, Bawnboy being ransacked on November 16th between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm. the property was ransacked throughout and has caused great destress to the homeowners.
