The number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Cavan General Hospital has doubled over the past month.
As of last night, there were 14 confirmed covid cases in the local hospital.
This figure was seven on the 21st of May.
Nationwide, there were 537 people in hospital with the virus, 27 of whom are in intensive care units.
Meanwhile, in the 14-day period leading up to the 14th of June, there were 137 confirmed PCR cases in Cavan and 104 in Monaghan.
