A Do Not Consume Notice has been lifted for customers supplied by the Threemilehouse and Togan Public Water Supply Scheme.
The notice had been in place since the 29th July due to elevated levels of manganese in the water supply.

It applied to almost 300 customers supplied by the Threemilehouse and Togan Public Water Supply Scheme, but all users of this supply can now resume normal use for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.

Pat O’Sullivan, Irish Water’s Compliance Specialist for the North West Region, has thanked the local community for their patience and support.
He added that Irish Water will continue to carry out on-going process control, monitoring and testing to safeguard the water supply for the future.
