Storm Éowyn has caused considerable damage in the Northern Sound region.
There are over 17,900 power outages across the two counties, Cavan and Monaghan.
This figure includes 6,537 customers without electricity in Ballyjamesduff, 3,931 in Cavan Town, and 3,152 in Bailieborough.
