In the last two weeks, there have been 2,829 cases per 100,000 population in north Monaghan.
Only Belmullet in Mayo, Enniscorthy in Wexford and Dundalk South have had more.
The Ballybay-Clones area is the next highest locally with 2694.9 per 100,000.
In Carrickmacross-Castleblayney, the rate for the past two weeks is 2374.5.
The national average for the time period is 1,334 – only one area of Cavan has a rate above that.
Latest figures show Bailieborough-Cootehill has a fourteen day rate of 1396.
Cavan-Belturbet and Ballyjamesduff are the lowest locally, at 1225 and 1166 respectively.
