€20 million will be made available for enterprise development projects in the region.

The newly-launched North-East Regional Enterprise Plan is a "bottom up" approach that will pursue "ambitious plans" for the region.

That's according to Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail, Damien English TD, who launched the plan with local Minister Heather Humphreys at the Cavan Digital Hub yesterday.

€20 million will be made available for enterprise development projects in Cavan, Monaghan, and Louth as part of the plan that runs to 2024.

The plans have been developed by regional steering committees, including Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland and the Local Enterprise Offices.
