A team of Donegal volunteers who pushed a hospital bed through Co Monaghan on their way to Letterkenny have surpassed their fundraising goal.
It was part of "Noah's Bed Push", which is named after six-year-old Noah Gooch from Letterkenny, who was born with Down Syndrome and diagnosed with leukemia in January.
The bed was pushed from Crumlin Children's Hospital to Letterkenny University Hospital, two places Noah recently received life-saving treatment.
The 250 kilometre long bed push took four days to complete, with the team passing through Co Monaghan on Friday.
Close to €113,000 has been raised so far, surpassing the original €100,000, and Noah's parents Lee and Claire say the money raised will allow them to give something back for all the care their son is receiving.
