It’s that time of year again when the clocks will go back by one hour at the weekend.
And yet the European Parliament voted in favour of removing daylight saving time permanently after the spring of 2021.
While the subject has been the source of much speculation in recent days, it doesn't appear that the tradition will cease any time soon.
And with the UK gone from the EU now, there is little doubt but the introduction of a time change in the EU would have a negative impact on the lives of people living in the border region.
