'Not one single penny' should be handed over to RTÉ in additional funding until the national broadcaster answers all the questions put to them.
That's according to Cavan/Monaghan TD Deputy Niamh Smyth who is also the chair of the Oireachtas Committee on Media.
RTE management are set to come before the committee this afternoon to face further questioning over financial controls at the organisation.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show earlier, Deputy Smyth said RTÉ must provide full transparency to the Minister for Media and to the public.
She said it is timely and important that we hear from the full Board on events that have unfolded and plans underway to rebuild public trust going forward.
When asked in relation to suggestions that RTÉ sell the Montrose site in Donnybrook, the local TD said all options have to be on the table.
