Nika McGuigan was posthumously honoured as Best Actress at last night's IFTAs.
The daughter of Clones boxing legend Barry McGuigan passed away when her last acting credit, "Wildfire", was in post-production.
The McGuigan family accepted her award at the virtual Irish Film and Television Awards ceremony last night, where the film's director Cathy Brady also took home Best Director, and paid tribute to Nika.
The 33 year old died in 2019 following a short illness.
Speaking at the event, Nika's brother Blane said it was "tragic" she didn't "get to show the world more of her endless talent".
