Speculation is mounting that the revised deal on the Northern Ireland protocol could be agreed as early as Tuesday. Yesterday the DUP expressed anger around reports that Britain's King Charles was expected to meet EU Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen to seal the deal.
However the meeting never took place. Columnist with the Irish News in Belfast, Dr Brian Feeney, says regardless of any deal, hardline members of the DUP will not share power at Stormont with Sinn Féin holding the First Minister position.
