A Monaghan Gaelic Football club has received planning permission for a new walking track and children's play area.
The new walking track at Drumhowan GFC will run from the site entrance and include two watercourse crossings via two bridges.
A new dugout will also be constructed close to one of the new bridges, and this will replace a structure that is deemed to be no longer fit for purpose.
The works will also include a new entrance pay-box, a new supporter's area and retaining wall, as well as a new car parking area.
The development will also include a children's play area, and the provision of a habitat for native bee species.
