A new training programme which has been launched today will help border communities to "rebound" from Covid and the uncertainties of Brexit.
That's according to the CEO of Monaghan Integrated Development, which is leading the Innovative Communities Project.
The programme will support communities in the southern border region and be run in partnership with local development companies in Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Louth, and Sligo.
Funding for the scheme is provided through the LEADER programme and will see more than 100 training modules delivered across these counties over a two-year period.
Speaking at today's launch, Gabriel O'Connell said everyone involved in the scheme will be giving it their "best shot":
